JOB DESCRIPTION

Thales is on a mission to help organizations protect their most critical data in a complex digital world. We’re looking for a Solutions Architect to be the technical bridge between customer challenges and our Cloud Protection & Licensing solutions.

You’ll be the trusted technical advisor our account teams rely on — shaping solutions that directly address our customers’ toughest application security challenges. As a consultative expert in Thales’ Cloud Protection portfolio, you’ll uncover needs, design tailored architectures and deliver compelling demos that show exactly why our solutions outperform the competition.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the technical sales cycle: discovery, RFP/RFI, solution design, demos, and proof-of-value.
  • Present complex tech concepts in clear, business-focused language.
  • Build trusted relationships with both technical teams and C-suite leaders.
  • Design and deliver tailored solutions to solve unique customer challenges.
  • Partner with Product, Business Development, and Customer Success for seamless delivery.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, competitors, and emerging technologies.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 5+ years in pre-sales for cybersecurity, enterprise software, networking, or security.
  • Experience with WAF, Bot Management, or DDoS solutions.
  • Strong communication & presentation skills in English (B2) and Spanish.
  • Hands-on with AWS, Azure, GCP, Kubernetes, Docker.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Security/Cloud/Networking, Web App Security and Hardware Security Modules Knowledge – nice to have.
  • Knowledge of compliance standards (PCI, SOX, HIPAA) – nice to have.

Position Requirements

  • Availability to travel internationally frequently.
  • Colombian citizenship or work permit.
  • Hybrid role, office based in Bogotá, Colombia.
