Critical Tasks and Expected Contributions / Results
Demonstrate the Company’s core values to contribute to the strategy and growth of the individual new business sales.
Develop sales strategy and drive associated action plan to achieve the Company’s growth and expansion in a compliant manner.
Manage and supervise all broker channels and strategic activities pertaining to all distribution and sales aspects.
Create robust and sustainable channels for growth through acquisition of new business clients and brokers; and driving increased penetration with existing business partners.
Direct the development and recommendation of measurable production and profit objectives which can be achieved through all channels. This includes budgeting and forecasting activities as well as analysis by broker & product line.
Partner closely with Marketing to ensure that marketing activities are optimized to the overall sales strategy of the company.
Provide leadership, direction and development for talents in Distribution team.
Ensure effective collaboration between Distribution and other functions such as Human Resources, Legal & Compliance, Operations, Marketing, Product and Finance for the best deployment of sales and distribution strategy, and Hong Kong’s overall business strategy.
Experience / Knowledge, Education and Other Requirements
Bachelor degree in any discipline
Sales team and Sales Channel management at a senior level (10+ years)
Experience in institutional selling in insurance or financial services with proven track record
An established network of contacts and relationships with key players/ decision makers in the market is strongly preferred
Experience in developing strategic market and/or business plans
