Information Protection Analyst  

The Information Protection Analyst will play a critical role in ensuring the integrity and effectiveness of logical access controls within the organization. This position is responsible for performing quality assurance over Identity Access Reviews, Entitlement Management, and other access control mechanisms. These controls are essential for enforcing the principle of Least Privilege and meeting rigorous regulatory and audit requirements. The role demands precision, consistency, and a strong analytical mindset to support internal and external audit readiness.
•    Conduct end-to-end Quality Assurance of Identity Access Reviews. 
•    Perform daily, weekly, and monthly testing of logical access controls. 
•    Identify control gaps and lead remediation efforts to ensure compliance. 
•    Design, develop, and execute logical access control testing procedures. 
•    Validate inputs and outputs of Identity Access Reviews for accuracy and completeness. 
•    Compile and present control evidence to internal stakeholders and external auditors. 
•    Collaborate across IAM teams to analyze and interpret user access review data. 
•    Partner with application and tool implementation teams to support access control initiatives.

Education:
•    Any bachelor’s degree

Experience:
•    1–3 years of experience in audit, control testing, or data analysis. 
•    Exposure to Identity and Access Management (IAM) and Privileged Access Management (PAM) is preferred.

Skills:
•    Strong analytical and technical skills with attention to detail. 
•    Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., VLOOKUP, PivotTables, IF/AND formulas). 
•    Experience in auditing, control testing, and analyzing large datasets. 
•    Familiarity with application entitlements and Role-Based Access Controls (RBAC). Understanding of SOX, SOC1, and SOC2 controls and audit frameworks. 
•    Effective communication skills for engaging with both technical and business stakeholders.
•    Knowledge of agile development methodologies.
