Software Engineering Lead Analyst - DevOps

Position Summary:

Evernorth, a leading Health Services company, is seeking a skilled Cloud and DevOps Engineer to join our Data & Analytics organization. In this role, you will be part of the team implementing AtScale as a platform for the semantic layer. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines. You will leverage tools, practices, and methodologies to ensure the efficient, reliable, and scalable delivery of software infrastructure.

Job Description & Responsibilities:

· Design and Implement Cloud Infrastructure: Utilize AWS services to design and implement robust cloud infrastructure.

· Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Develop and maintain IaC using Terraform to ensure consistent and repeatable deployments.

· CI/CD Tools and Source Control: Work with CI/CD tools and source control systems such as Ansible, Jenkins, and GitHub to streamline development and deployment processes.

· Containerization and Orchestration: Implement and maintain containerization and orchestration solutions, including Docker and Kubernetes, to enhance application scalability and reliability.

· Optimize Cloud Resources: Optimize cloud resource utilization and cost management while ensuring system reliability, scalability, and security.

· Agile Framework: Operate within an Agile framework, participating in Scrum/Kanban ceremonies such as Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews, PI Planning, and Retrospectives.

· Collaboration: Collaborate with team members to streamline deployment processes and improve overall efficiency.

Qualifications

Required Experience & Skills:

· 5 to 8 years of overall Engineering experience.

· Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools, particularly Terraform.

· Hands-on programming experience using relevant languages like Python, Bash.

· Experience with CI/CD tools, especially GitHub, Jenkins, Ansible.

· 3-5 years of experience with AWS services (e.g., EKS, RDS, SQS, SNS, Lambda, EC2, API Gateway, CloudFront)

· Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g. Splunk, Grafana, Dynatrace)

· Strong knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker) and orchestration platforms (Kubernetes).

· Solid understanding of networking concepts and security best practices.

Preferred Experience & Skills:

· AWS certifications (e.g. DevOps Engineer, Solutions Architect)

· Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Splunk, Grafana, ELK stack)

· Knowledge of database administration and optimization.

· Familiarity with AI/ML deployment workflows.

· Experience with databases like postgress.

Location & Hours of Work

· Full-time position, working 40 hours per week. Expected overlap with US hours as appropriate

· Primarily based in the Innovation Hub in Hyderabad, India in a hybrid working model (3 days WFO and 2 days WAH)
