How will you make an impact:

The Manufacturing Engineer supporting AO peptone manufacturing will make a significant impact by strengthening the performance, reliability, and scalability of production operations for animal-origin supplements. This role is essential in ensuring that manufacturing processes operate flawlessly and consistently deliver high-quality products that support Thermo Fisher Scientific’s mission to make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer.

What will you do:

  • Conduct data analysis and identify trends to support process improvement

  • Validate and update equipment processes, ensuring efficient performance

  • Devise and fabricate tools and equipment to boost production efficiency

  • Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues promptly

  • Provide technical support to the production team to troubleshoot problems and improve manufacturing performance.

  • Maintain detailed documentation of processes, procedures, and compliance with industry standards and regulations.

  • Devise and implement capital investment schemes.

Education

  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Engineering or a related field is required.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • CAD Design

  • PLC/HMI Programming

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Proficiency in constructing and manufacturing tools and equipment

  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Physical Requirements / Work Environment

The job involves working in manufacturing, standing, lifting 25 pounds, and wearing safety gear.

Salary

Estimated Salary Rangemedium confidence

75,000 - 130,000 USD / yearly
