ポジション概要

本ポジションは、Thermo Fisher Scientific JapanにおけるAnalytical Instrument Group（AIG）のうち、担当ビジネスディビジョンのFP&A業務全般をリードする重要な役割です。
戦略的ビジネスパートナーとして、日本のシニアディレクタークラスのCommercial／Serviceリーダー、およびグローバルのファイナンスチームと密に連携し、洞察力のある財務分析および実行支援を通じて、担当ビジネスの業績向上に貢献します。

主な職務内容

財務計画およびレビュー業務のサポート・推進

• 売上およびP/Lの予測、進捗管理、分析

• 月次・四半期のビジネスレビューパッケージの作成

• KPIのモニタリング、トレンド把握および前年差・予算差異分析

• Commercial／Serviceリーダーとの財務パフォーマンスに関するコミュニケーション

• 財務パフォーマンス改善機会の特定および提言

• 年次オペレーティングプラン、月次・中期フォーキャスト、長期戦略計画の策定支援

• 戦略的イニシアチブを支援するための財務モデル・分析の作成

• マネジメントの意思決定を支える高度な財務分析の実施

• グローバルディビジョン／Commercial／Financeチーム、APAC Commercial／Financeチームとの連携

応募資格

• 会計・財務分野の学士号、または同等の知識・経験

• FP&AまたはCommercial Financeにおける実務経験 2年以上

• 財務会計に関する十分な理解

• 日本語・英語ともにビジネスレベル以上

• ERPシステム（SAP、Oracle等）や分析ツール（Hyperion等）の使用経験または知識があれば尚可

Finance領域でのバックグラウンドがない方でも、Excel（VLOOKUP、ピボットテーブル等）を活用した分析スキル、ビジネスレベル以上の日本語および英語力、ならびに高いコミュニケーション能力を有する方は応募可能です。

Reports To: FP&A Associate Manager

Position Summary:  

The position is a key role to lead all FP&A activities for one of business divisions of Analytical Instrument Group (AIG) in Thermo Fisher scientific in Japan. As a strategic business partner, the position will closely work with a senior director level Commercial/Service Leader in Japan as well as global Finance counterparts for assigned business divisions and contributes to the business divisions’ performance improvement by providing insightful financial analysis and support for execution.

Job Responsibilities

Support leading and managing financial planning and review processes:

• Forecast, track, analyze revenue and P/L as well as preparing monthly/quarterly business review package
• Monitor performance indicators, highlighting trends and analyzing causes of variance
• Communicate with Commercial/Service Leader for financial performance
• Measure and identify opportunities to improve financial performance
• Support preparing annual operating plan, monthly and mid-term forecasts, and long-term strategic plan
• Develop financial models and analysis to support strategic initiatives
• Perform complex financial analysis to support management decision making process
• Liaise with Global division/Commercial/Finance and APAC Commercial/Finance teams

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance, or equivalent knowledge
• 2+ years experiences in FP&A or Commercial Finance roles
• Thorough understanding in financial accounting
• Strong command in English and Japanese
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g. SAP/Oracle) and analytical tools (e.g. Hyperion) is a plus

Candidates who do not have prior finance-related experience may still be considered if they demonstrate proficiency in Excel (e.g. VLOOKUP, pivot tables), business-level or above fluency in Japanese and English, and strong communication capabilities.
