The Role: Operations Manager


We're looking for an exceptional leader to spearhead our operations in the bulking and filling of commercial sterile pharmaceutical products.
 

What You'll Do:

  • Lead and inspire production teams, fostering a culture of excellence, safety, and quality compliance
  • Ensure on-time, in-full (OTIF) delivery to customers with a Right First Time (RFT) approach
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to the overall site performance
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Quality Assurance, Technical Support, Engineering, and more
  • Develop and implement strategic operational plans aligned with business objectives
  • Manage manufacturing processes, resolve issues, and optimize production efficiency
  • Uphold GMP standards and maintain regulatory compliance across UK, Europe, and USA
  • Champion safety, health, and environmental initiatives within the organization


What You'll Bring:

  • Established leadership experience in a Pharmaceutical/Healthcare environment

  • Deep understanding of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) regulations
  • Experience in bulk manufacturing and filling within medium to large-scale pharmaceutical manufacturing
  • Degree in Science, Engineering, or a related field (preferred)
  • Strong decision-making skills with a focus on risk-based approaches
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven track record in implementing operational excellence and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Proficiency in data analysis, project management, and performance improvement methodologies
