What will you do

• Interpret and put into action quality assurance standards and procedures.
• Assess the sufficiency of quality assurance criteria.
• Record and report quality data.
• Review the implementation and efficiency of quality and inspection systems.
• Detail internal audits and other quality assurance activities.
• Investigate customer complaints and non-conformance issues.
• Collect and compile statistical quality data.
• Analyze data to identify areas for improvement in the quality system.
• Draft, champion, and coordinate corrective and preventive measures.
• Prepare reports to communicate outcomes of quality activities.
• Identify training needs and coordinate training interventions to meet quality standards.
• Coordinate and support on-site internal and external audits.
• Evaluate audit findings and implement appropriate corrective actions.
• Monitor risk management activities.
• Manage document systems.
• Be involved in validation activities.
• Assure ongoing compliance with quality requirements.
• Plan, conduct, and monitor microbial testing and inspection of materials and products to ensure finished product quality.
• Assist the production team in examining underlying reasons and proposing solutions for corrective and preventive actions.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology/Biotechnology/Life Science or equivalent experience.

What you'll need to succeed

• Qualification in a Science-related field. Microbiology laboratory experience will be an added advantage.
• High level proficiency in Quality Management Systems, ideally within a regulated environment such as the pharmaceutical, food, or regulated manufacturing industry.
• Excellent research and analytical thinking. Experience in problem-solving tools such as A3, fishbone, etc.
• Ability to effectively manage multiple projects and priorities.
• High level of attention to detail, meticulous.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work autonomously.
• Intermediate knowledge in Microsoft Office suite. SAP and MasterControl use would be highly desirable.
