Job Description

As an Application Specialist III at Thermo Fisher Scientific, you will be at the forefront of providing outstanding customer service and support across Brazil and Latin America. This is an outstanding opportunity to join a team committed to delivering flawless service and resolving complex challenges effectively!

Responsibilities

  • Ensure high customer happiness through on-site service and support, strictly following SOPs and quality compliance.
  • Conduct preventive visits, installations, corrective and proactive visits, training, and updates to SDG and IDD Latam portfolio protocols.
  • Deliver expense reports, monitor service indicators, order airline tickets, and close service orders via ServiceMax.
  • Provide equipment support to colleagues and the sales team, ensuring efficient use of field professionals.
  • Train clients and provide technical support for products and equipment during initial installations, if necessary.
  • Identify and determine business opportunities in alignment with the sales area.
  • Participate in product launches and provide support to our sales representatives, clients, and distributors.
  • Monitor service activity reports, ensuring an efficient workflow.
  • Conduct client and regional visits, being available for travel 85% of the time.
  • Resolve customer complaints related to field support issues or bring them up to the FAS Supervisor.
  • Support the development and implementation of field support policies and procedures.
  • Participate in special projects related to the development of systems supporting technical service functions.

Requirements

  • biomedical, Pharmacuetial formation or similar
  • Advanced proficiency in English and Spanish is highly desirable.
  • Proven experience in a similar customer service role about 3 years.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with customers and internal teams.
  • Willingness to travel often across Brazil and Latin America.
  • Strong problem-solving skills to handle complex issues.
  • Compliance with Thermo Fisher's standards of conduct, ethics, and corporate quality procedures.
  • Up-to-date on corporate training and use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
  • Qualified and certified to perform field duties.
