What We Do

We support the safe, compliant, and effective use of radiation-emitting products across their full lifecycle. Our team ensures regulatory readiness, maintains radiation safety programs, and partners across functions to meet global standards and protect employees, customers, and communities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead regulatory activities for radiation-emitting devices, including global submissions, registrations, and technical documentation.
  • Serve as the Radiation Safety Officer (RSO), maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local radiation safety requirements.
  • Oversee licensing, audits, inspections, and corrective actions related to radiation safety programs.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor radiation protection procedures, training, and operational controls.
  • Partner with R&D, Quality, Operations, and EH&S to ensure regulatory and safety requirements are integrated into product design and site practices.
  • Review product changes, labeling, and marketing materials for regulatory impact.
  • Maintain accurate records, reports, and inventories related to radiation use.
  • Track regulatory changes, assess impact, and advise cross-functional teams.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in a scientific, engineering, health physics, or related field.

Experience

  • 3+ years in Regulatory Affairs, Radiation Safety, Health Physics, or a related compliance role.
  • Experience with radiation-emitting products, licensing, or RSO responsibilities preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Strong understanding of radiation safety regulations (e.g., NRC, FDA, state requirements) and regulatory submission pathways.
  • Ability to interpret and apply technical and regulatory requirements accurately.
  • Skill in developing procedures, training, and safety controls.
  • Effective communication and collaboration across technical and non-technical teams.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality results in a dynamic environment.
