About the Role
As a Field Service Engineer II, you will install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair advanced analytical instruments, including ICP-MS, ICP-OES, and AA systems. You will support customers in research, industrial, and healthcare environments by delivering high-quality technical service and contributing to improved instrument performance and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Install analytical instruments and provide operational training
Perform troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance
Conduct system validation, inspection, and performance checks
Prepare detailed service reports and communicate field feedback
Support service process improvements and internal knowledge sharing
Propose service contracts, paid repairs, and upgrade solutions
Collaborate closely with customers, internal teams, and partners
Requirements
Degree in Electronics, Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, or related fields
Experience as a service engineer or analytical instrument user preferred
Strong mechanical/electrical troubleshooting skills
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to read English technical manuals
Ability to travel 50–75% and lift up to 50 lbs
Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability across different products
50,000 - 90,000 USD / yearly
