The Administrative Assistant provides essential support to Aegis Wealth Advisors, ensuring seamless daily operations and exceptional member experiences. Reporting directly to Geoff Delahanty, this role demands a friendly, professional attitude to handle client interactions, manage office functions, and utilize Thrivent's proprietary systems. This full-time position is based in our Lakewood, CA office—no remote work. You'll play a pivotal role in client-facing activities, from greeting members to scheduling appointments and maintaining records, all while upholding Thrivent's high standards of confidentiality and service excellence.
Success in this role requires a blend of technical proficiency, interpersonal skills, and organizational prowess:
A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Previous administrative, secretarial, or office support experience (1-2 years preferred) in financial services, wealth management, or customer-facing roles is highly desirable. Strong technical aptitude with business tools is essential; familiarity with Thrivent systems is a plus. Applicants must commit to obtaining a Life & Health License within six months of hire. A basic understanding of financial products and services is beneficial.
Competitive hourly pay of $23-25/hour based on experience, equating to approximately $47,840 - $52,000 annually for a 35-hour workweek. We offer performance-based reviews for potential increases.
