The Administrative Assistant plays a pivotal role in our practice's success by delivering top-tier administrative support to Kyle F. Mumpton, CFP®, and the broader team. Reporting directly to Kyle, you'll be the friendly face and voice of our office, handling client interactions, operational tasks, and ensuring seamless daily workflows. This fully in-office position in Liverpool, New York, demands an upbeat demeanor, multitasking prowess, and a commitment to exceptional member service. You'll utilize Thrivent's proprietary systems to support client relations, manage communications, and contribute to business growth initiatives.
Success in this role requires a blend of technical savvy, interpersonal finesse, and organizational excellence. Key skills include:
A high school diploma or equivalent is required; an associate's degree in business administration or related field is preferred. Previous administrative, secretarial, or office support experience (1-2 years desired) in financial services, insurance, or professional services is highly valued. Insurance licensing is preferred, but candidates must be willing to pursue NY Life and Health Insurance Licenses (Life, Health, Annuity) within 6 months, with full practice support. Demonstrated technical aptitude and a basic understanding of financial products/services are essential.
Competitive hourly pay of $20-25 per hour, based on experience, equates to an annual range of approximately $41,600-$52,000 for full-time employment (2,080 hours/year). This reflects market rates for Administrative Assistants in Liverpool, New York, considering local cost of living and financial sector benchmarks.
