Role Description

The Administrative Assistant provides essential administrative support to Prairie Financial Group, a Thrivent-affiliated practice. Reporting directly to practice leadership, you'll handle daily operations to ensure seamless service for our members. Detailed Responsibilities

Core Administrative Duties

  • Handle incoming telephone calls to Prairie Financial Group, responding promptly to member inquiries and routing requests efficiently.
  • Greet and assist members in-person, creating welcoming first impressions and enhancing client satisfaction.
  • Process and distribute postal mail and practice email, ensuring timely handling of all correspondence.
  • Maintain office supplies inventory, place orders, and manage vendor relationships for cost-effective operations.

Client Support & Scheduling

  • Drive client-facing activities by scheduling meetings with members on behalf of Financial Advisors.
  • Update the contact management system with accurate client/member contact details and preferences.
  • Assist Financial Advisors in preparing for and following up on client meetings, including document organization and reminders.

Financial & Operational Support

  • Prepare routine correspondence, reports, and special projects using Microsoft Office and Thrivent systems.
  • Track practice expenses, oversee bill payments, and maintain financial records with precision.
  • Provide backup support for unlicensed tasks, supporting team members as needed.
  • Participate in business planning processes and complete miscellaneous tasks to drive practice success.
