Role Description

As an Associate Financial Advisor at Lakeview Financial Group, you’ll be a vital resource for our financial advisors and provide exceptional support to clients. Detailed Responsibilities

• Meet with potential clients to build genuine, long-term relationships based on shared values and goals.
• Educate and empower clients to make knowledgeable financial decisions about investments, insurance, retirement planning, and generosity strategies.
• Build a strong personal network through local nonprofits, churches, businesses, and community events in Coeur d’Alene and surrounding areas for sustainable business growth.
• Develop essential skills and best practices to become a successful financial advisor, including prospecting, needs analysis, and solution presentation.
• Assist senior advisors with client portfolio reviews, financial plan implementation, and ongoing service delivery.
• Conduct seminars and workshops on financial literacy, retirement readiness, and wealth management tailored to community needs.
• Leverage Thrivent's digital tools for client engagement, CRM management, and performance tracking to optimize advisory services.
• Collaborate with the Lakeview Financial Group team to ensure seamless client experiences and practice expansion.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or related field preferred.
• Securities (Series 7 and 66 or Series 7, 63, and 65) and resident state Life, Health, and Annuities licenses required. If not currently licensed, candidates must be willing to obtain within 12 months.
• 1-3 years of sales, customer service, or financial services experience ideal, but entry-level and career changers encouraged to apply.
• Strong understanding of financial products including investments, insurance, retirement plans, and banking solutions.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM software, and financial planning tools.
