Role Description

The Client Service Administrator provides essential administrative support to Metro DC Associates, ensuring seamless daily operations and superior member experiences. Reporting directly to practice leadership, this in-office, part-time role (approximately 25-30 hours per week) involves managing communications, client scheduling, and operational tasks using Thrivent's proprietary systems. Detailed Responsibilities

  • Handle incoming telephone calls to Metro DC Associates, responding promptly to member inquiries and requests for information with professionalism and empathy.
  • Perform routine administrative duties, including maintaining office supplies inventory, processing incoming and outgoing postal mail, and managing practice email distribution.
  • Prepare and coordinate routine correspondence, reports, and special projects to support financial advisors' initiatives.
  • Drive client-facing activities by scheduling meetings with clients and members on behalf of the practice's Financial Advisors.
  • Update and maintain the contact management system with accurate client/member contact details, preferences, and interaction history.
  • Assist Financial Advisors in preparing for and following up on client/member meetings, ensuring all materials are ready and notes are documented.
  • Provide back-up support for unlicensed tasks, collaborating with team members to maintain workflow efficiency.
  • Participate actively in the business planning process, contributing insights on operational improvements and member service enhancements.
  • Complete miscellaneous tasks as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and a proactive approach to practice needs.
  • Utilize Thrivent Financial computer systems and programs to support client relations, data entry, and reporting functions.
