Role Description

The Client Service Manager owns and executes a superior, referrable client experience. You'll support clients and the Journey Financial Consultants team by handling inquiries, addressing service and account needs, and scheduling appointments. This role focuses on operational efficiency and delivering experiences so exceptional that clients become advocates. Initially open to unlicensed professionals, with a commitment to obtain SIE, Series 6, Series 63, Life/Health Insurance licenses within 6 months. This position does not involve making client recommendations or delivering advice—it's all about seamless support for advisors and clients in a high-trust financial services setting.

Detailed Responsibilities

Client Service Excellence

  • Promote a culture of hospitality, warmth, and operational excellence centered on clients.
  • Serve as a key liaison, providing clear communication and building trust with clients.
  • Ensure client expectations are met or exceeded through proactive problem-solving.
  • Conduct basic account transactions upon request, per appropriate licensure.
  • Handle escalated client issues promptly and professionally for positive outcomes.
  • Partner with the team to deliver smooth new client onboarding experiences.
  • Manage and optimize a high-quality client service model through collaboration.
  • Lead strategies and workflows to enhance client engagement, loyalty, and advocacy, including Thrivent Fraternal benefits like Action Teams and Thrivent Choice Dollars.

Operational Support

  • Efficiently manage client inquiries via phone, email, and in-person interactions.
  • Schedule appointments and coordinate with financial consultants for seamless service.
