Role Description

This isn't a scripted complaint line—it's an empowering role where you own the entire customer journey from 'Hello!' to resolution. As a Licensed Customer Care Professional-Annuities, you'll handle inbound calls from members seeking guidance on annuities, retirement planning, and related financial products. Escalated issues are rare because our clients share Thrivent's values, leading to positive, purpose-driven interactions.

Each day, you'll build rapport with diverse callers, navigate complex systems, and deliver clear, concise solutions. While Average Handle Time (AHT) is tracked, our priority is quality, first-call resolution, and minimizing after-call work to serve more clients effectively. With up to 6 weeks of paid training, dedicated mentors, and monthly coaching, this remote position equips you for success and long-term career progression in annuities and financial services.

Detailed Responsibilities

  • Handle inbound calls from Thrivent members regarding annuities, including product inquiries, transactions, beneficiary claims, and retirement strategies.
  • Build instant rapport with callers from diverse backgrounds to assess needs accurately and present tailored, potentially complex solutions.
  • Navigate multiple systems simultaneously while engaging clients with positive, clear language to gather information and resolve issues on the first call.
  • Focus on superior client experiences, prioritizing quality over speed while optimizing processing time.
  • Participate in structured onboarding, ongoing training, and monthly coaching sessions to deepen expertise in annuities and financial products.
