The Director of Operations at Thrivent plays a pivotal role in overseeing the function and performance of operations and support staff. Reporting to the CEO and employed through our trusted partner Gateway Associates, this position is essential for aligning departmental processes with the company's vision. You'll supervise staff, establish innovative processes, procedures, and protocols, and collaborate closely with executive leadership to propel Thrivent forward. This leadership role demands a strategic thinker who can foster a high-performance culture while ensuring operational efficiency. Ideal for seasoned professionals in operations management, this position offers the autonomy to shape workflows, manage teams, and drive profitability in a dynamic financial services environment based in Germantown, Wisconsin.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Finance, or a related field required; Master’s degree or MBA preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 8-10 years in operations management, with at least 5 years in a supervisory or director-level role within financial services, professional services, or a similar industry. Demonstrated success in developing SOPs, managing cross-functional teams, and driving profitability initiatives. Experience with payroll, benefits administration, and performance management systems is essential.
Thrivent offers competitive compensation reflective of Germantown, Wisconsin's market rates for senior operations leaders. Base salary ranges from $130,000 to $160,000 annually, depending on experience, plus performance-based bonuses and incentives.
