Role Description

As a Thrivent Financial Advisor in Delavan and surrounding areas, you will build a financial practice that aligns with your values. Provide personal, actionable, and achievable advice, connecting clients to Thrivent’s comprehensive products and programs including investments, insurance, banking, and generosity initiatives. Leverage your network and Thrivent’s award-winning reputation to make client appointments, deliver financial workshops, and market your practice effectively.

Detailed Responsibilities

  • Build and grow a financial practice guiding clients toward financial clarity and purposeful living.
  • Provide personalized financial planning, investment strategies, insurance solutions, and banking services tailored to individual needs.
  • Develop and maintain long-term client relationships based on trust, empathy, and deep community understanding.
  • Prospect and acquire new clients through networking, referrals, community events, and Thrivent’s marketing resources.
  • Conduct award-winning financial workshops and seminars to educate and engage potential clients.
  • Utilize Thrivent’s technology and tools for efficient practice management and client communication.
  • Collaborate with Thrivent specialists in business development, marketing, and compliance for ongoing support.
  • Stay compliant with all regulatory requirements, including maintaining necessary licenses and registrations.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience required.

  • Must be willing to obtain required licenses: state insurance licenses (life, health, variable contracts), Series 7, and Series 66.
  • Previous financial services experience is a plus but not required—Thrivent provides comprehensive training.
