Role Description

As a Thrivent Financial Advisor in Dickinson/Williston/Montana & Surrounding Areas, you will build a financial practice guiding Christians on their journeys to financial clarity, empowering lives of service and faith. Provide personal, actionable, and achievable advice while connecting clients to Thrivent products and programs like investments, insurance, banking, and generosity initiatives.

Develop and maintain genuine, long-term relationships throughout generations based on trust and understanding. Serve clients in your chosen community with the flexibility to set your own schedule. Leverage your network and Thrivent’s reputation to make client appointments, deliver award-winning financial workshops, and market your practice effectively.

Detailed Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive financial planning sessions to assess client needs and goals.
• Recommend tailored solutions including life insurance, health insurance, variable contracts, investment portfolios, retirement plans, and banking services.
• Host educational financial workshops and seminars to attract prospects and build community presence.
• Prospect and network within local churches, businesses, and community events in Dickinson, Williston, and Montana areas.
• Maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements, including Series 7, Series 66, and state insurance licenses.
• Utilize Thrivent's marketing tools, technology platforms, and business development resources to grow your practice.
• Foster multi-generational client relationships through ongoing advice and service.
• Participate in Thrivent's generosity programs, encouraging clients to give back meaningfully.
• Collaborate with regional teams for referrals, coaching, and joint ventures.
• Track performance metrics and adjust strategies to maximize client satisfaction and business growth.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

• Must obtain required licenses: Life, Health & Variable Contracts insurance licenses, Series 7 and Series 66 securities registrations (Thrivent provides paid training).
• Demonstrated commitment to community involvement and faith-based values.
• Residency or strong ties to Dickinson, Williston, Montana, or surrounding areas preferred.
