Role Description

As a Thrivent Financial Advisor, you will build a financial practice guiding Christians on their journeys to financial clarity, empowering lives of service and faith. Provide personal, actionable, and achievable advice while connecting clients to Thrivent products and programs. Develop and maintain genuine, long-term relationships throughout generations based on trust and understanding, with the ability to serve clients in your chosen community.

Detailed Responsibilities

  • Build and grow a sustainable financial practice by identifying client needs and recommending appropriate Thrivent solutions, including investments, insurance, banking, and generosity programs.
  • Conduct comprehensive financial planning sessions, analyzing clients' goals, risk tolerance, and life stages to create tailored strategies.
  • Leverage digital tools, CRM systems, and Thrivent's marketing resources to prospect, nurture leads, and schedule appointments effectively.
  • Deliver educational workshops and seminars on topics like retirement planning, debt management, and faith-based giving in Grand Rapids churches and community centers.
  • Maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements, including FINRA Series 7 and 66, and state insurance licenses.
  • Collaborate with Thrivent's field leadership and support teams for coaching, business planning, and practice management.
  • Foster multi-generational client relationships by serving families across Grand Rapids and surrounding areas like Ada, Byron Center, and Rockford.
