Role Description

As a Thrivent Financial Advisor in the Greater Seattle/Bellevue Area, you will provide personal, actionable, and achievable advice, connecting clients to Thrivent’s comprehensive products and programs including investments, insurance, banking, and generosity initiatives. Leverage your network and Thrivent’s renowned reputation to make client appointments, deliver award-winning financial workshops, and market your practice effectively.

Detailed Responsibilities

  • Build a financial practice guiding Christians on their journeys to financial clarity, empowering lives of service and faith.
  • Provide personal, actionable and achievable advice and connect clients to Thrivent products and programs such as life insurance, retirement planning, investment strategies, and charitable giving.
  • Develop and maintain genuine, long-term relationships throughout generations based on trust and understanding, serving clients in the Greater Seattle/Bellevue community.
  • Make client appointments by leveraging your network, Thrivent’s reputation, and delivering award-winning financial workshops.
  • Market your practice through community events, seminars, and digital strategies tailored to the Seattle market.
  • Collaborate with Thrivent specialists in business development, marketing, and technology to grow your client base.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements including Series 7, Series 66, and state insurance licenses.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to stay ahead in financial planning trends.

Education & Experience

  • Must obtain required licenses: Life, Health & Variable Contracts insurance licenses, Series 7 and Series 66 securities registrations (Thrivent provides paid training).
  • Self-disciplined, independent, and driven to succeed.
  • Motivated by helping others and seeing them achieve their goals.
  • Natural coach or guide with strong interpersonal skills.
