Role Description

As a Thrivent Financial Advisor, you will build a financial practice guiding Christians on their journeys to financial clarity, empowering lives of service and faith. Provide personal, actionable and achievable advice and connect clients to Thrivent products and programs. Develop and maintain genuine, long-term relationships throughout generations based on trust and understanding, with the ability to serve clients in your chosen community in Houston and Eastern Texas suburbs.

Detailed Responsibilities

• Build and grow a sustainable financial advisory practice focused on holistic financial planning for individuals and families.
• Conduct comprehensive financial reviews, including retirement planning, investment strategies, insurance needs, and generosity planning.
• Deliver personalized financial advice aligned with clients' values, faith, and life goals.
• Host educational financial workshops and seminars in Houston Metro Area communities, Beaumont, and surrounding Eastern Suburbs.
• Leverage digital marketing tools, CRM systems, and Thrivent's lead generation programs to acquire new clients.
• Maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements, including FINRA and state insurance regulations.
• Collaborate with Thrivent's team of specialists for advanced planning solutions like estate planning, business succession, and charitable giving.
• Track and report on business performance metrics to optimize growth and client satisfaction.
• Engage in continuous professional development to stay ahead of industry trends in financial services.

Education & Experience

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Obtain state insurance licenses (life, health & variable contracts), Series 7 and 66 registrations (Thrivent provides paid training).
• Previous experience in sales, business management, education, ministry, hospitality, military, or related fields is highly valued.
• Commitment to Thrivent’s mission of faith-driven financial advice.
• Residency or strong ties to Houston Metro Area, Beaumont, or Eastern Texas Suburbs preferred.
