Role Description

As a Thrivent Financial Advisor in the Inland Empire, you will build a financial practice that aligns with your values. Provide personal, actionable and achievable advice, connecting clients to Thrivent products and programs like investments, insurance, banking, and generosity initiatives. Leverage your network and Thrivent’s award-winning reputation to make client appointments, deliver financial workshops, and market your practice effectively.

Detailed Responsibilities

  • Build and grow a financial practice guiding clients, particularly Christians, toward financial clarity and purposeful living.
  • Provide personalized financial planning, including retirement strategies, wealth management, investment advice, life insurance, health insurance, and banking solutions.
  • Develop and maintain long-term client relationships across generations in the Ontario, California area and broader Inland Empire.
  • Prospect and generate leads through networking, community events, financial workshops, and digital marketing.
  • Conduct client meetings to assess needs, recommend Thrivent products, and ensure ongoing support for financial goals.
  • Deliver educational workshops on topics like financial literacy, generosity planning, and faith-based investing.
  • Utilize Thrivent’s technology tools for client management, compliance, and business growth.
  • Collaborate with Thrivent specialists in marketing, business development, and compliance to optimize your practice.
  • Stay compliant with all regulatory requirements, including maintaining Series 7, Series 66, and state insurance licenses.
  • Participate in continuous professional development to enhance advisory skills and product knowledge.

  • Previous experience in sales, business management, education, ministry, hospitality, military, or related fields is highly valued, as these skills transition seamlessly into financial advising.
