Role Description

As a Thrivent Financial Advisor in Las Vegas and surrounding areas, you will build a financial practice that delivers personal, actionable, and achievable advice. Connect clients to Thrivent’s comprehensive products and programs, including investments, insurance, banking, and generosity initiatives. Develop and maintain genuine, long-term relationships throughout generations based on trust and understanding.

Detailed Responsibilities

• Build a financial practice guiding Christians on their journeys to financial clarity, empowering lives of service and faith.
• Provide personal, actionable and achievable advice and connect clients to Thrivent products and programs, including life insurance, health insurance, investments, banking solutions, and generosity planning.
• Develop and maintain genuine, long-term relationships throughout generations based on trust and understanding, serving clients in Las Vegas and surrounding Nevada communities.
• Make client appointments by leveraging your network, Thrivent’s reputation, delivering award-winning financial workshops, and marketing your practice through digital and community channels.
• Conduct comprehensive financial planning sessions, analyzing client needs, goals, and risk tolerance to recommend tailored strategies.
• Collaborate with Thrivent specialists in business development, marketing, technology, and engagement to grow your practice efficiently.
• Host educational seminars and workshops on topics like retirement planning, wealth accumulation, estate planning, and faith-aligned investing in the Las Vegas area.
• Monitor client portfolios, adjust strategies as needed, and ensure compliance with all regulatory standards including Series 7 and 66 requirements.
• Participate in ongoing professional development to stay ahead of industry trends and enhance client service delivery.

Education & Experience

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Obtain state insurance licenses (life, health & variable contracts), Series 7 and 66 registrations (Thrivent provides paid training).
• Previous experience in sales, business management, education, ministry, hospitality, military, or related fields is highly transferable.
• Self-motivated with a track record of success in independent roles.
• Passion for community involvement, particularly in faith-based Las Vegas networks.
