Role Description

As a Thrivent Financial Advisor in Waldorf, Maryland, you will build a financial practice guiding Christians on their journeys to financial clarity, empowering lives of service and faith. Provide personal, actionable and achievable advice and connect clients to Thrivent products and programs. Develop and maintain genuine, long-term relationships throughout generations based on trust and understanding, with the ability to serve clients in your chosen community across Montgomery, Frederick, and Washington County MD. Leverage your network and Thrivent’s reputation to make client appointments, deliver award-winning financial workshops, and market your practice effectively.

Detailed Responsibilities

• Build and grow a financial practice by guiding clients toward financial clarity and purpose-driven goals.
• Provide personalized financial planning, including investments, insurance, banking, and generosity programs tailored to individual needs.
• Develop long-term client relationships through trust, empathy, and ongoing support across generations.
• Prospect and secure client appointments using personal networks, community events, and Thrivent’s marketing resources.
• Deliver engaging financial workshops and seminars to educate and attract potential clients in Waldorf and surrounding areas.
• Collaborate with Thrivent specialists for business development, technology tools, and marketing strategies to accelerate practice growth.
• Maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements, including state insurance licenses and FINRA registrations.
