Role Description

As a Thrivent Financial Advisor in North Chicagoland Suburbs, Illinois, you will build a financial practice that combines professional expertise with heartfelt guidance. Provide personal, actionable, and achievable advice while connecting clients to Thrivent’s comprehensive products and programs, including investments, insurance, banking, and generosity initiatives. Develop and maintain genuine, long-term relationships throughout generations based on trust and understanding.

Detailed Responsibilities

• Build and grow a financial practice by guiding clients toward financial clarity and purpose-driven goals.
• Provide personalized financial planning, including retirement strategies, investment portfolios, life insurance, and wealth protection solutions.
• Conduct client discovery meetings to understand unique needs, values, and faith-based priorities.
• Deliver award-winning financial workshops and seminars in North Chicago communities to generate leads and educate prospects.
• Develop long-term client relationships through ongoing reviews, adjustments, and referrals across generations.
• Leverage Thrivent’s marketing tools, technology platforms, and business development support to prospect and acquire new clients.
• Collaborate with Thrivent specialists in investments, insurance, and banking to deliver holistic advice.
• Maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements, including Series 7, 66, and state insurance licenses.
• Participate in continuous professional development and coaching to enhance your advisory skills.

• Must obtain required licenses: Life, Health & Variable Contracts insurance licenses, Series 7, and Series 66 securities registrations (Thrivent provides paid training).
• Commitment to ethical practices and a heart for community service.
• Residency or strong ties to North Chicagoland Suburbs, Illinois preferred.
