Role Description

As a Thrivent Financial Advisor in Raleigh, NC, you will build a financial practice that empowers clients to achieve their goals while aligning with their values. Provide personal, actionable and achievable advice, connecting clients to Thrivent's comprehensive products and programs including investments, insurance, banking, and generosity initiatives. Develop and maintain genuine, long-term relationships throughout generations based on trust and understanding, serving clients in your chosen community.

Detailed Responsibilities

  • Build and grow a financial practice guiding Christians toward financial clarity and purposeful living.
  • Provide personalized financial advice, including retirement planning, wealth management, insurance solutions, and investment strategies tailored to client needs in the Raleigh/Cary area.
  • Develop long-term client relationships through trust-building, regular check-ins, and multi-generational planning.
  • Prospect and acquire new clients by leveraging personal networks, community events, Thrivent workshops, and digital marketing tools.
  • Conduct financial workshops and seminars on topics like debt reduction, college savings, estate planning, and faith-based giving.
  • Collaborate with Thrivent specialists for advanced support in product recommendations, compliance, and business growth.
  • Maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements, including FINRA Series 7/66 and state insurance licenses.
  • Utilize Thrivent's technology platforms for client management, portfolio analysis, and performance tracking.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to stay ahead in financial advising trends and best practices.
