Role Description

As a Thrivent Financial Advisor, you will build a financial practice guiding Christians on their journeys to financial clarity, empowering lives of service and faith. Provide personal, actionable, and achievable advice, connecting clients to Thrivent products and programs. Develop and maintain genuine, long-term relationships across generations based on trust and understanding, serving clients in your chosen community.

Make client appointments by leveraging your network and Thrivent’s reputation, delivering award-winning financial workshops, and marketing your practice. Thrivent advisors enjoy the autonomy to set their own pace while accessing robust resources to drive growth and client satisfaction.

Detailed Responsibilities

  • Build and grow a financial advisory practice focused on holistic financial planning, including investments, insurance, banking, and generosity planning.
  • Conduct one-on-one client consultations to assess financial goals, risks, and opportunities, delivering tailored recommendations.
  • Host educational financial workshops and seminars in local communities, churches, and organizations to attract prospects and establish thought leadership.
  • Leverage personal networks, referrals, and Thrivent's marketing tools to generate leads and schedule appointments.
  • Maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements, including FINRA, SEC, and state insurance regulations.
  • Collaborate with Thrivent specialists for advanced solutions in retirement planning, estate strategies, and charitable giving.
  • Track client portfolios, monitor performance, and provide ongoing support to ensure long-term success and retention.
  • Participate in continuous professional development to stay ahead of industry trends and enhance advisory skills.
