Role Description

As a Thrivent Financial Advisor, you will build a financial practice guiding Christians on their journeys to financial clarity, empowering lives of service and faith. Provide personal, actionable, and achievable advice while connecting clients to Thrivent’s comprehensive products and programs, including investments, insurance, banking, and generosity initiatives.

Detailed Responsibilities

• Build and grow a financial advisory practice focused on holistic financial planning for individuals and families.
• Conduct client consultations to assess financial goals, risks, and needs, delivering tailored advice on investments, retirement planning, insurance, and wealth protection.
• Host educational financial workshops and seminars to engage prospects in Tacoma, Silverdale, Port Angeles, and surrounding communities.
• Prospect and network within local churches, businesses, and community events to generate leads and appointments.
• Manage client portfolios, monitor performance, and provide ongoing support to ensure alignment with life goals and faith-based values.
• Collaborate with Thrivent specialists for advanced solutions in estate planning, business succession, and charitable giving.
• Maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements, including Series 7, Series 66, and state insurance licenses.
• Leverage Thrivent’s marketing tools, technology platforms, and business development resources to scale your practice.

• Must obtain state insurance licenses (life, health, variable contracts), Series 7, and Series 66 registrations during onboarding (Thrivent provides paid training).
• Previous financial services experience preferred but not required; we train motivated career changers.
