Role Description

As a Thrivent Financial Advisor, you will build a financial practice guiding Christians on their journeys to financial clarity, empowering lives of service and faith. Provide personal, actionable, and achievable advice and connect clients to Thrivent products and programs. Develop and maintain genuine, long-term relationships throughout generations based on trust and understanding, with the ability to serve clients in your chosen community in Eastern Missouri.

Detailed Responsibilities

• Build and grow a financial practice by identifying client needs and providing tailored financial planning, investment strategies, insurance solutions, and banking services.
• Conduct one-on-one consultations and group financial workshops to educate clients on achieving financial goals aligned with their values and faith.
• Leverage personal networks, community events, and Thrivent's marketing resources to generate leads and secure appointments in Washington, MO, and surrounding areas.
• Develop long-term client relationships through ongoing advice, portfolio reviews, and life-stage planning for families in Hermann, Aspenhoff, Gray Summit, and St. Clair.
• Collaborate with Thrivent specialists in investments, insurance, and philanthropy to deliver comprehensive solutions.
• Participate in professional development, including obtaining necessary licenses (Series 7, 66, life/health/variable contracts) during paid onboarding.
• Market your practice effectively using digital tools, seminars, and community involvement to attract clients seeking purpose-driven financial advice.
• Maintain compliance with regulatory standards while prioritizing client-centric, ethical service.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.

• Willingness to obtain state insurance licenses (life, health, variable contracts), Series 7, and Series 66 securities registrations (Thrivent provides paid training).
• Previous financial services experience is a plus but not required—Thrivent welcomes career changers passionate about faith-aligned advising.
