Role Description

As a Thrivent Financial Advisor, you will build a financial practice guiding Christians on their journeys to financial clarity. Develop and maintain genuine, long-term relationships throughout generations based on trust and understanding, with the ability to serve clients in your chosen Wichita community.

Detailed Responsibilities

  • Build and grow a financial practice by identifying client needs and recommending tailored solutions including investments, insurance, banking, and generosity planning.

  • Host financial workshops and seminars in Wichita churches, community centers, and businesses to attract new clients and educate on topics like retirement planning, debt management, and legacy giving.
  • Leverage digital marketing tools, CRM systems, and Thrivent’s lead generation programs to prospect and nurture leads effectively.
  • Maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements, including FINRA Series 7 and 66, and state insurance licenses.
  • Collaborate with Thrivent’s regional teams for business development support, technology integration, and peer mentoring.
  • Track and report on practice growth metrics, adjusting strategies to meet revenue and client acquisition goals.
  • Engage in continuous professional development through Thrivent’s training programs to stay ahead in financial planning trends.
