Role Description

As a Thrivent Financial Advisor in Downers Grove, Illinois, you will build a financial practice focused on personal, actionable, and achievable advice. Connect clients to Thrivent's comprehensive products and programs, including investments, insurance, banking, and generosity initiatives. Develop and maintain genuine, long-term relationships throughout generations based on trust and understanding, serving clients in your chosen community.

• Build a financial practice guiding Christians on their journeys to financial clarity, empowering lives of service and faith.
• Provide personal, actionable and achievable advice and connect clients to Thrivent products and programs.
• Develop and maintain genuine, long-term relationships throughout generations based on trust and understanding.
• Make client appointments by leveraging your network and Thrivent’s reputation.
• Deliver award-winning financial workshops and market your practice effectively.
• Collaborate with Thrivent specialists in business development, marketing, technology, and engagement.
• Utilize comprehensive tools and resources to grow your business and serve clients holistically.
• Participate in community events, church groups, and local networks in Oakbrook, Downers Grove, and surrounding areas.

Education & Experience

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Obtain state insurance licenses (life, health & variable contracts), Series 7 and 66 registrations (Thrivent provides paid training).
• Previous experience in sales, business management, education, ministry, hospitality, military, or related fields is highly transferable.
