Role Description

The Insurance Office Professional delivers licensed administrative support to Financial Advisors at Endeavor Financial Group, a Thrivent-affiliated practice. Reporting directly to practice leadership, you'll handle client inquiries, manage daily operations, and support insurance-related tasks. This in-office position in Van Wert, Ohio, requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and an active Ohio insurance license.

You'll serve as the first point of contact for members, ensuring their insurance and account needs are met promptly.   • Handle incoming telephone calls, respond to client requests, and provide accurate information on accounts and insurance products.

  • Perform routine administrative duties, including maintaining office supplies, processing mail, and managing practice email.
  • Prepare routine correspondence, reports, and support special projects as assigned.
  • Drive customer-facing activities by scheduling meetings for Financial Advisors and updating contact management systems.
  • Assist with preparation and follow-up for client meetings, including product change support for fixed insurance and annuities.
  • Participate in marketing efforts such as direct-mail campaigns, fraternal activities, seminars, and community events.
  • Explain, discuss, or interpret fixed insurance and annuity contracts; communicate coverage status to clients.
  • Issue certificates of insurance, endorsements, binders, commitments, or contracts as needed.
  • Collaborate with Financial Advisors on insurance tasks, leveraging Thrivent's computer systems for client relations.
  • Support daily practice operations, including greeting members and ordering supplies.
  • Handle additional responsibilities based on licensure and business needs.
