Role Description

The Market Director is a key area leader at Thrivent, responsible for driving growth through advisor teams and future team leaders to serve our clients effectively. Detailed Responsibilities

  • Maintain a consistent recruiting pipeline to support market capacity growth and achieve total sales objectives through advisor referrals and community partnerships.
  • Collaborate with channel stakeholders to source candidates into open roles, including Virtual Advice, team sales, and support positions.
  • Actively manage and engage candidates through all phases of selection, licensing, and launch in partnership with your matrix team.
  • Conduct selection interviews, assess candidates, and confidently articulate Thrivent’s unique value proposition in financial services.
  • Establish strong relationships with matrix partners to provide resources and support for developing talent into teams and future leaders.

Develop and Launch FA Practices

  • Demonstrate mastery of the Thrivent Financial Advice Process and coach advisors on all elements to ensure successful launches.
  • Provide consistent launch support for new Financial Advisors (FAs), including practice management guidance and performance optimization strategies.
  • Facilitate teaming initiatives and succession planning to build sustainable advisor practices in the Nashville market.

Drive Market Growth and Community Engagement

  • Cultivate local community relationships to boost brand awareness and expand Thrivent’s client base.
  • Lead efforts to establish Thrivent as the premier provider of holistic financial planning in Nashville.
  • Monitor market trends, analyze performance metrics, and implement strategies to exceed growth targets.
