Role Description

The Marketing Specialist at Thrivent's Ascend National Wealth Advisors is responsible for developing and executing targeted strategies to attract high-net-worth individuals and business owners. This role focuses on prospect research, lead generation through digital channels, networking, and referrals, ensuring a steady pipeline of qualified prospects for our Wealth Advisor. You'll manage outreach campaigns, schedule meetings, and track performance metrics to optimize results. Ideal for a self-starter with financial services marketing experience, this position demands excellent communication, CRM proficiency, and a customer-focused mindset in a fast-paced wealth advisory practice.

Detailed Responsibilities

Core Marketing & Lead Generation Duties

• Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies tailored to high-net-worth individuals ($1M–$10M investable assets) and business owners.
• Conduct in-depth research to identify and qualify prospects using data-driven tools and market analysis.
• Leverage digital marketing platforms, social media, email campaigns, SEO, and targeted advertising to generate high-quality leads.
• Build and nurture referral networks through strategic networking events, partnerships, and community engagement in the Seattle area.
• Manage end-to-end outreach campaigns, including personalized email sequences, LinkedIn prospecting, and paid ad optimization.
• Schedule, confirm, and follow up on meetings between qualified prospects and Nick Dare, ensuring seamless coordination.
• Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as lead conversion rates, ROI on campaigns, and pipeline growth using analytics tools.
• Report weekly and monthly insights on marketing performance to refine strategies and drive continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with the Wealth Advisor team to align marketing efforts with client acquisition goals.
• Represent Thrivent and Ascend National Wealth Advisors professionally in external interactions, fostering long-term relationships.

• Proficiency in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, Wealthbox), digital marketing tools (e.g., HubSpot, Google Analytics, LinkedIn Ads), and email platforms.
• Excellent independent worker capable of meeting and exceeding performance goals.
• Local to Federal Way, WA, or greater Seattle area; no relocation assistance.

Compensation Overview

Competitive hourly rate of $23-25/hour, based on experience. Annual equivalent approximately $47,840 - $52,000 (based on 40-hour week). Opportunities for performance-based incentives tied to lead generation success.
