Role Description

In this critical Paralegal role, you'll serve as a subject matter expert for mutual fund regulatory filings, supporting Thrivent's registered fund business. Primary responsibilities include drafting and submitting SEC filings, analyzing legal issues, and collaborating with internal business partners and external counsel. You'll prepare materials for meetings, draft agendas, take minutes, and ensure compliance with the evolving regulatory framework for mutual funds and ETFs. Detailed Responsibilities

  • Draft and submit SEC filings for Thrivent's mutual funds and ETFs, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with all regulatory requirements.
  • Partner directly with attorneys and business units to evaluate legal risks, develop solutions, and support key business objectives.
  • Conduct in-depth legal research on investment fund regulations, staying abreast of changes in the legal and regulatory environment.
  • Assist with internal and external meetings by preparing agendas, taking detailed minutes, and compiling supporting materials.
  • Work independently to identify, analyze, and resolve legal issues, coordinating with outside counsel for efficient resolutions.

  • Lead or participate in GCO (General Counsel's Office) initiatives and enterprise-wide projects as needed.
