Role Description

As a Remote Licensed Financial Advisor on Thrivent's Virtual Advice Team, you'll provide personalized, virtual financial planning to help clients achieve their goals aligned with their faith and life purpose. Detailed Responsibilities

  • Conduct virtual meetings with clients to assess their financial situations, goals, and values, creating customized financial plans that integrate saving, investing, insurance, banking, and generosity.
  • Provide expert guidance on retirement planning, wealth accumulation, risk management, and legacy planning, ensuring plans enable lives of service and faith.
  • Utilize Thrivent’s Planning Platform, Salesforce, MoneyGuidePro®, and Morningstar tools to analyze client data, model scenarios, and recommend tailored solutions.
  • Build and nurture a book of business by serving our large existing client base, as well as friends, family, and your natural market through virtual outreach.
  • Collaborate with fellow advisors, planners, and support teams to deliver holistic advice and drive client outcomes.
  • Stay compliant with regulatory standards, including FINRA and state insurance requirements, while maintaining accurate records in CRM systems.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development, team huddles, and community engagement initiatives to enhance your skills and network.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to deepen client relationships and expand services, fostering long-term loyalty and referrals.

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered

Preferred:

  • 2+ years in financial services, advising, or sales
  • Experience with virtual client servicing and financial planning tools

Compensation Overview

Earn a competitive salary plus uncapped commission potential, with top performers achieving six-figure incomes. Base salary range: $80,000 - $120,000, depending on experience, plus bonuses, incentives, and comprehensive benefits.
