Role Description

The Senior Associate in Private Equity Real Estate (PERE) is a pivotal role within our dynamic investment team, based in the heart of Minneapolis, Minnesota. This position supports the underwriting, structuring, execution, and ongoing monitoring of commercial real estate investments spanning diverse asset classes and geographies. Highly analytical in nature, the role provides broad exposure to portfolio monitoring, investment underwriting, due diligence, and risk management processes.

  • Regularly update asset models and dashboards, analyzing variances between actual performance and original underwriting assumptions.
  • Underwrite private real estate equity fund investments as a core member of the deal team, driving key analytical components.
  • Assist in crafting clear, compelling investment committee materials and presentations that articulate business plans, key assumptions, risks, and return profiles.
  • Collaborate in investment recommendation processes and decision-making forums.
  • Manage general partner relationships and actively source new investment opportunities.
  • Lead special projects, from ad-hoc analyses to strategic initiatives enhancing PERE operations.
