Role Description

The Sr Sourcer plays a pivotal role in Thrivent's Talent Acquisition team, focusing on the timely and effective sourcing and pre-qualifying of Financial Representative (FR) candidates for key field regions and markets. By leveraging proven strategies and innovative techniques, you will identify, attract, and pre-qualify top-tier talent to fuel Thrivent's growth. This position involves close collaboration with the Talent Acquisition team and field leadership to build robust pipelines of FR talent, meeting both current and future business demands.

This role is fully remote within the US, offering flexibility while being based in the vibrant Minneapolis, Minnesota area. Detailed Responsibilities

  • Partner closely with market and regional field leadership to gain a deep understanding of talent needs and specific requirements within designated regions.
  • Employ innovative online sourcing strategies, including resume databases, referral programs, advanced Boolean searches, social media platforms, direct sourcing, cold calling, target company research, and internal databases to attract passive candidates.
  • Conduct thorough initial phone screens to introduce Thrivent's mission and opportunities, pre-qualify candidates based on core requirements, gauge interest levels, and provide detailed information on the interview process.
  • Champion diversity initiatives by supporting the attraction of inclusive candidate pools, ensuring positive experiences, and positioning Thrivent as a top employer in financial services.
  • Maintain consistent communication with field leaders to facilitate knowledge sharing, pipeline updates, and alignment on hiring priorities.
  • Cultivate and nurture candidate relationships until they are ready for presentation to recruiters and leaders, driving the sourcing and recruiting process efficiently and cost-effectively.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on external market intelligence, including supply and demand trends, labor market analysis, competitor insights, and industry benchmarks.
  • Undertake additional projects and special assignments to support broader Talent Acquisition goals and organizational objectives.
