Thrivent is more than a financial services organization—it's a mission-driven, not-for-profit financial services powerhouse dedicated to helping people achieve financial clarity and live generous lives. As a Team-Based Financial Advisor with the Riverfront Legacy team in Spokane, Washington, you'll embark on meaningful work in a rewarding career that combines financial expertise with heartfelt advice. Our fraternal benefit society model sets us apart, fostering a culture of community involvement, ethical guidance, and long-term client relationships.
Join a supportive team environment where experienced Lead Advisors mentor you through joint fieldwork, providing income stability while you focus on learning and development. Whether you're a recent graduate seeking your first opportunity, a career changer from another industry, or a financial professional looking to elevate your career, Thrivent offers the platform to build your book of business and potentially become a partner in the practice. In Spokane's vibrant community, you'll make a tangible impact, helping clients navigate life's financial milestones while contributing to local causes they care about.
Thrivent's holistic approach integrates faith-based values, comprehensive financial planning, and innovative tools to empower clients. With over 2 million members and a legacy of financial strength, you'll have the backing of a Fortune 500-caliber organization committed to your professional growth.
The Team-Based Financial Advisor role at Thrivent's Riverfront Legacy practice is designed for motivated individuals passionate about financial advising. This position provides a structured platform emphasizing learning and development over immediate production pressures. You'll work closely with seasoned Lead Advisors, receiving hands-on mentorship, coaching, and training to master the financial services landscape.
Over your first 8-13 weeks, Thrivent invests in your success by sponsoring the study and attainment of essential licenses, such as Resident State Life, Health and Annuity, Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), and Series 6/63, 7/66, or 7/63/65 (tailored to your situation). Following licensing, you'll dive into a comprehensive 6-week training program covering client service, product knowledge, compliance, and advice tools.
Post-training, you'll shadow experts in joint fieldwork, gradually building your client base with the goal of transitioning to a full traditional Financial Advisor role within the team. This Spokane-based opportunity is ideal for those eager to serve the Inland Northwest community with integrity and expertise.
Thrivent seeks advisors who embody our values and bring technical prowess. Key desired characteristics include unyielding integrity, a client-first mindset, and a commitment to community. We're looking for individuals who thrive in collaborative settings and are driven to help others achieve financial wellness.
No prior financial experience required—ideal for entry-level candidates, career changers, or industry professionals. A bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory. Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for helping people are paramount. Must be willing to obtain required licenses and commit to ongoing professional development.
Earn a competitive base salary plus performance-based incentives, with income stability during your training phase. Total compensation reflects your growth, including commissions, bonuses, and profit-sharing potential as you build your practice.
