Role Description

The Training Specialist LIC role at Thrivent is pivotal in facilitating dynamic in-person and virtual learning experiences. Detailed Responsibilities

  • Facilitate engaging in-person and virtual learning experiences using established resources and programs to maximize knowledge retention.
  • Ensure positive, inclusive, and effective learning environments that meet all intended objectives for diverse participant groups.
  • Make moderate revisions to learning materials such as job aids, tutorials, web-based training, workshop curriculum, learner guides, articles, publications, technology tips, and videos based on feedback and updates.
  • Consult with business leaders to assess training needs and co-develop tailored solutions and tools.
  • Document and maintain comprehensive training records for compliance and continuous improvement.
  • Monitor, evaluate, and record training effectiveness; recommend and implement enhancements as needed.
  • Provide feedback to content owners, represent training on project teams, and suggest optimal training approaches.
  • Offer timely follow-up to participant inquiries to reinforce learning.
  • Support design, development, and management of performance-focused learning solutions, including needs assessment and innovative delivery methods.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to infuse business context into learning programs across various channels.
  • Identify emerging trends in training practices, research methodologies, and recommend forward-thinking approaches.
