Role Description

As a Virtual Financial Advisor at Thrivent in Dallas, you’ll guide Christians and others who align with Thrivent’s mission and values to create and maintain their financial plans, enabling lives of service and faith. Work remotely serving clients nationwide, leveraging Thrivent’s proprietary tools for virtual consultations, portfolio management, and personalized advice.

Detailed Responsibilities

• Conduct virtual client meetings to assess financial goals, risk tolerance, and life priorities using Thrivent’s Financial Planning Framework.
• Develop customized financial plans including investments, retirement strategies, insurance solutions, and banking products.
• Build and nurture a book of business through virtual prospecting, referrals, and Thrivent’s existing client base.
• Provide ongoing advice and portfolio reviews via video calls, ensuring alignment with clients’ faith-driven values.
• Collaborate with Thrivent’s Virtual Advice Team to deliver seamless service and community engagement opportunities.
• Obtain and maintain required state insurance and securities licenses with company-paid training and support.
• Participate in coaching sessions to enhance virtual advising skills and business development techniques.
• Promote Thrivent’s generosity programs, helping clients incorporate giving into their financial strategies.
• Utilize digital tools for compliance, reporting, and client relationship management in a fully remote environment.
• Support local Dallas-area initiatives virtually, strengthening Thrivent’s community presence.
