Job Description:

We’re looking for a Distribution Centre Loss Prevention Coordinator to play a key role in safeguarding our operations. In this position, you’ll support LP awareness and shrink programs, conduct audits, and ensure asset protection and life safety standards are upheld in collaboration with DC Operations and DCLP Management. What You’ll Do:
  • Assign daily responsibilities to Security Officers and Loss Prevention Associates (LPAs) and assist DCLP Management in building effective teams through training and support.
  • Act as a liaison with DC Operations, Home Office, Store, Supply Chain, and Field LP Management to promote Loss Prevention programs, resolve shipping-related issues, and maintain asset protection standards.
  • Complete operational audits, review LPA audits for loss and compliance, and monitor Shrink Committee goals on a monthly basis.
  • Conduct training sessions within the LP department, facilitate orientations for new General Warehouse Associates, and support ongoing development of LP staff.
  • Coordinate emergency response procedures, implement fire safety regulations, support internal investigations, and advance urgent issues to LP/DC Management.





About You:
  • Minimum 2 years of Distribution Centre LP experience or equivalent
  • Law and Security Diploma and/or equivalent experience an asset.
  • Must hold a valid provincial security license (where required by law) and maintain it throughout employment. General knowledge of Loss Prevention equipment and systems, including CCTV, radios, and fire alarm panels.
  • Strong investigation and interviewing skills, conflict resolution, organizational and interpersonal abilities, and effective verbal and written communication. Ability to build partnerships across teams and support projects, including resource coordination, record maintenance, and emergency response.
