About Global Forwarding

Global Forwarding delivers cargo across our global network via road, rail, sea, and air. From loose cartons for consolidation and palletized cargo to moving dangerous goods and bulk commodities, we have the experience, the infrastructure, and the global network to get freight moving – across towns, across countries and across continents.  

The opportunity

  • Customer service: Handle issues or complaints related to sea freight & visit customers

  • Oversee sea freight operations: Manage the planning, organizing, and directing of goods via sea transport.

  • Negotiate contracts and rates: Collaborate with shipping companies to secure favorable terms.

  • Team supervision: Lead the sea freight team and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.

  • Monitor performance: Track carrier performance and recommend actions for compliance failures.

  • Training and guidance: Provide training and advice to colleagues on air freight operations.

What you’ll need to succeed

Min. 5 yrs relevant experience in freight forwarding
