Purpose of the Role:

  • Deliver financial and general accounting support to the Retail & Consumer (R&C) Division within a centralized shared services environment.

  • Provide accurate financial reporting, meaningful analysis, and insights to support informed decision‑making.

  • Uphold compliance with Toll Group policies and drive continuous improvement across financial processes and controls.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support budgeting and forecasting processes.

  • Prepare and analyze P&L statements and variance reports.

  • Review balance sheet reconciliations and resolve issues.

  • Assist with board and corporate reporting.

  • Identify cost control opportunities.

  • Handle month-end accounting, accruals, and provisions.

  • Support audits, tax returns, and compliance.

  • Provide value-added analysis and decision support to business units.

  • Mentor junior accountants and assist with process documentation.

  • Ensure adherence to reporting deadlines and KPIs.

What You’ll Need to Succeed:

  • A bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or Commerce or equivalent working experience. CA/CPA qualification (or if you are well-advanced in obtaining it).

  • Demonstrated experience with automation tools, strong Power BI capability, and advanced Excel proficiency to enhance reporting accuracy, efficiency, and workflow optimization would be value add.

  • A proactive and hands-on approach to financial and management reporting, with a keen eye for detail.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a shared services environment, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to evolving business needs.
