OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE JOB

This position will be responsible for providing effective tender handling, when received from internal & external customers, and align opportunities together with Company’s growth & strategy.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DECISIONS/ LEVEL OF AUTHORITY

  • Lead global, regional RFQ and manage responses

  • Consolidate and Processing APAC pricing (RFQ) exclude North Asia and solution for Global/Regional Tender

  • Develop, maintain, and update Historical Tender Database based Won RFQs result & run analysis report

  • Handling Request for Information (RFI) within required timeframe.

  • Ensure that sanity checks for RFQs are done for 98% of the submission.

  • Ensure that all requires rate components with correct units of measurements and currencies been quoted in when submitting to TM lead

  • Support sales operation team on generating Profitability Report

  • Maintain and update the Tender Pricing Contact List

  • Ensure the email has been responded within 24 hours

  • Ability to handle multiple tenders at the same time and meet all deadlines with minimal supervision

  • Consolidate data and update information for Request for information (RFI) based on Tender Database and Resource Centre

  • Manage RFI library materials and validate RFI FAQ answers with respective departments on regular basis.

  • Add new FAQ questions in RFI Library from newly completed RFIs

  • Ensure RFI compliance to internal policy and process requirements

  • Ability to effectively collaborate with all stakeholders across hierarchy levels within the organisation

  • Assist with ad-hoc assignments, pricing analysis and projects as assigned to support business goals

SKILLS ESSENTIAL TO THE JOB.

Technical

  • Knowledge of MS Office, advanced MS excel experience

  • Proficiency in both spoken and written English

  • Independent, detailed with good analytical skills

  • Able to work under pressure to deliver quality work under tight deadlines

  • Understanding of the logistics business (preferred)
