The Total Rewards Partner for Iberia (Spain and Portugal) at PepsiCo's Barcelona office in Cornella de Ll. is a strategic HR leadership role. You'll design, implement, and administer competitive compensation and benefits programs tailored to local markets while aligning with PepsiCo's global guidelines. This position ensures reward programs are scalable, compliant, and executable by the Global Capability Center (GCC). Partnering with HR, Finance, and business leaders, you'll translate complex needs into actionable processes, driving talent attraction, retention, and business performance in a fast-paced FMCG environment.
Accountable for the end-to-end Total Rewards agenda, this role influences senior stakeholders across Spain, Portugal, and EMEA. You'll champion pay equity, flex benefits, incentives, and wellbeing initiatives, ensuring financial sustainability and legal compliance.
Lead the Total Rewards strategy for Iberia, owning design and deployment of base pay, incentives, retirement plans, insurance, and allowances. Govern annual cycles like merit increases and benefits enrollment via the GCC for seamless execution. Drive process improvements, collaborate with Works Councils, and manage vendor relationships with brokers and consultants. Act as the go-to advisor for People Business Partners and Iberia leaders, leveraging data analytics for informed decision-making.
Ensure adherence to Spanish and Portuguese labor laws, taxation, and social security regulations. Influence cross-functional teams without direct line management, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and best-practice sharing.
Candidates need 7-8 years of professional experience, ideally in HR generalist and Compensation & Benefits roles within organizations of 500+ employees. Matrixed FMCG experience and HR systems proficiency are highly valued. Required skills include excellent interpersonal abilities for senior leader interactions, strong analytics to derive insights, and agility in dynamic settings. Fluency in English is essential; Spanish is highly desirable, with Portuguese as a plus. A Master’s degree in Human Resources, Finance, Economics, or Business Administration is preferred, complemented by advanced IT skills in Excel and HR reporting tools. Knowledge of local legislation and Works Councils experience is critical.
