Key Responsibilities

In this critical role, your primary accountabilities include:

• Delivering finished products or raw materials to assigned destinations safely and on time.
• Ensuring the safety and compliance of every load through proper securement and inspection.
• Maintaining accurate DOT driver logs and all required transport documentation.
• Inspecting your tractor-trailer for proper and safe operating conditions before and after each trip.
• Assisting in the loading and unloading of trailers, including lifting cases weighing 20-45 pounds if needed.
• Obtaining proper authorization for all pick-ups and deliveries while adhering to DOT regulations.

Qualifications & Requirements

To qualify for this Transport Driver position at PepsiCo, candidates must meet these basic qualifications:

• Be 21 years or older.
• Pass a DOT physical and DOT Road Test.
• Hold a valid U.S. CDL License with Non-Excepted Interstate Status.
• Possess a valid Class A CDL license with HazMat, Double, and Tanker endorsements.
• Have at least 100,000 verifiable accident-free miles or more than 2,500 accident-free hours.
• Demonstrate the ability to follow all DOT regulations.

Helpful experience includes operating trucks requiring a Class A CDL, such as driving forwards and backwards, maneuvering in tight spaces, dropping and hooking trailers, operating landing gear, and backing into docks.
